Over two thirds of Americans, including the insured are overweight and suffer related illnesses, such as diabetes and heart disease.

Start where it all begins, at the grocery store: Just about everyone has a Store Card (Kroger's, for example): Have all Dietic/Sugarfree food ring up at a 50% discount for Seniors, the disabled and diabetics. That's what I'd call a Stimulus. The food industry would get a shot in the arm, the government would restore public confidence and the most vulnerable of our society would get the kind of food they need at an affordable price.
